Just a year after Braeval opened he won the Scottish Field and Bollinger Newcomer of the Year Award and another 4 years later the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. As Scotland youngest chef to get a Michelin star Nicks career went into orbit. Not only was the Braeval packed but TV came knocking on his door. Wild Harvest was followed by Wild Harvest 2 and both the accompanying books became best sellers. Since then he has become a regular on Ready Steady Cook, Who’ll Do The Pudding, and Light Lunch.
