News about our speakers

Nigel Barlow, a founding director of Tom Peters Group, Europe is extremely talented at delivering sessions when enhanced Customer Service is the aim! Not only funny he is also inspirational and motivating and client feedback is always excellent.

Just recently we were delighted to announce we had secured the services of Phillip Oppenheim, Uri Geller and Matthew Parris. Three great speakers suitable for various speaking engagements and assured to inform and inspire. If you think Uri is just a spoon bender think again. He is a motivational speaker of the year and gets great client feedback.

Tommy Docherty and Denis Taylor are as usual getting rave reviews regardless of who they are speaking to, and we had one client, rather hung over who phoned us to thank us a 8am the next day!

Both David Mellor and Derek Hatton are firmly establishing themselves as one of the best celebrity After Dinner Speakers.

The Two David’s, Gunson and Kendall continue to be heavily booked so early booking is advisable.

Both Ran Fiennes and Chris Bonington are proving very popular for motivational talks as are Roger Black and Frank Dick.

From TV we are getting great feedback on both Rory Bremner and Quentin Willson, probably because they both go that extra mile to ensure their hosts and their guests have a great time!

Relative TV newcomer Adam Hart Davis is also proving popular and successful often attending on his bike dress in his trademark fluorescents.

There are hundreds of speakers out there but most are not very good, a great TV personality or businessman doesn’t necessarily make a brilliant speaker.

However good a speaker may be it is critical that they are placed for the right engagement.

This is what we are dedicated to: providing the best speakers for your remit.

On a note of sadness we lost both David Welch and Gordon Brown to cancer last year. Both excellent speakers in their respective fields we salute them and are thankful for the contribution they made to the speaking profession.

One note of caution, be very careful when booking a speaker as there is a rash of lists appearing offering speakers. They are quite easy to spot as they have no depth, only hundreds of names and are usually just lists of names plucked from other lists. Most of the time these businesses actually some to us, and other established specialists, to book the speaker and then add on a fee on top! More worryingly they don’t have the depth of understanding to fully advise on who would fit your needs best.

The established suppliers all have advice, profiles and sub categories on their sites.

We would advise that you check how long they have existed, what experience they have in supplying speakers, who their client’s are and if you are not sure about them ask to speak direct with their clients. Any decent company will be quite willing to provide all this information.

If you have any questions relating to speakers please do phone us on 0845 458 3707 or e-mail us. We are happy to advise regardless of whether you want a speaker or not.
Finally if you have any comments about how to make this site better we would love to hear them.
